4/10 Regular

We recently stayed at a three-star hotel situated right by the lake, which initially seemed like a great choice for a peaceful getaway. However, our experience left to be desired. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator, and we were given a room on the third floor. To make matters worse, the room had a sloped ceiling, making it impossible to stand upright in about three-quarters of the space.
The room itself was far from child-friendly. It had a small window without a lock, and the bars behind it were inadequate. Our two-year-old daughter managed to open the window, and she could have easily slipped through the bars, which was alarming considering the drop was about 10 meters.
The facilities are in dire need of refurbishment. The hairdryer appeared to be over 30 years old, the mattress was uncomfortably firm with springs that could be felt, and the grout in the bathroom tiles was blackened in some areas due to moisture.
Additionally, despite booking for two adults and a baby, we were only provided with one large towel. Although the staff were friendly and did resolve the towel issue the next day, it was an inconvenience. The manager was also kind enough to help us carry our large suitcase up the stairs, which was appreciated given the lack of an elevator.
Overall, I found the price to be somewhat disproportionate to the state of the facilities. Other hotels in the area with better amenities offered similar rates, which made our stay feel like
