The hotel stay and room was ok or decent at best. Nothing to brag about but also it provided what we needed. Our room was room #117, which appeared nice. Has its own kitchenette, fridge, coffee maker, cups, plus another bathroom sink to use for your hygiene needs, all appeared clean an decent working order, at first.
So the first issue: the shower door will not stay closed during a shower.. had to prop my little soap box up top to keep it from opening. Thst so needs to get fixed. Also… the shower head needs to be changed out as there was very poor pressure coming out of it.
2nd issue: Kitchenette shelving up top as you face it, looking towards the right- the veneer is coming or separating off and needs to be repaired.
3rd issue: while we were out our room never got replenished (toilet paper or bathroom cleaned during our 2 day stay, nor the beds made up). I love leaving a tip to the maids that prep a room back up to cleanliness but not if the hotel doesn’t bother doing so.
4th issue: on our check out day we had gotten up a little later than we wanted to, and called the front desk to ask if we can have about 30 extra minutes to get ready to leave and she said no! I was shocked! Usually hotels are generally ok with that but not this hotel. Based on that particular encounter, I am not sure we’re going to return.
Anyways, am not in the business of finding faults with hotels but at the same time, customer care goes a long way if you accommodate them.
