The apartments are well connected with the main area in Gran vía, you have multiple places to get some food and stores to do shopping- also the metro and bus station are just a step outside the building. I think the location is amazing and you have also nice views from the room, which it’s pretty nice.
The front desk is in the 1st floor and 24/7, but they don’t have a phone to communicate from your apartment to the reception, you need to go downstairs and it’s a bit annoying.
You can leave the luggage if you arrive before the check in or if need it after check out.
In general the apartments are in good conditions and clean with enough storage and nice decoration, for long stay they do cleaning every 3 days and it’s comfortable.
The only 2 things I didn’t like were:
1. The room it’s pretty cold and you can’t control the electric heater in the ideal temperature if need it, they have at certain degree I think for the whole building and I slept freezing the whole time, which is pretty bad as in any hotel or apartment I have stayed is a basic you can control the heater as desire, isn’t locked.
2. The bathroom has a huge window with view in front of the rest of windows that are part of the main hall of each floor and the other apartments but the curtain is transparent so they can look inside completely even when you are taking a shower, in that way you don’t have complete privacy in the place that obviously you should have it.
