The location is decent, and I would consider staying in this area again, but this particular property was a disappointment. It’s listed on other platforms as well, and while I was aware there was no front desk, we followed the self-check-in instructions and got in without issue.
However, upon arrival, Florence was experiencing a heatwave (39°C), and the air conditioning wasn’t working. The only contact number provided led to someone unrelated to the property, and when we called again, the person was upset and unhelpful. We spent the whole afternoon trying to reach someone for help, which unfortunately impacted our short stay in Florence.
I contacted Hotels.com, and while they tried to assist by calling the owner, they were unsuccessful in getting a response. We had to stay without AC during extreme heat, which made the stay very uncomfortable. It was too late to book another option.
The room was clean and looked nice, but the lack of support and communication significantly affected our experience. I wouldn’t stay here again.
