Saw some good reviews here, thought it would be a great hotel to stay.
However, upon checking in, we were totally taken aback !
The hotel has a big restaurant, but the hotel lobby was miserably tiny. Despite being a new hotel (that's what some of the reviewers said - we found some of the fixtures like toilet accessories looking pretty aged- which made me wonder if some of the reviews here were fake or paid to do so). Toilet walls were stained and tainted with cement.
The lobby settee was broken.
We checked in rather late , the solo female receptionist was rather brisk and did not make us feel welcome at all.
Booked 2 rooms and had requested for adjacent rooms, but was assigned rooms on separate floors! This showed total disrespect for guests' requests.
Had asked for quiet rooms on a higher floor , but was instead given rooms on 4th floor which is on the same level as the MRT rail track- we were disturbed considerably by the noise of the frequent passing trains day and night - THE INCCESSANT NOISE IS THE CRITICAL POINT TO CONSIDER FOR PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS! It appeared that all rooms in this hotel are facing the rail track!
The hotel does not supply any amenities at all in the rooms ! The booking site only cited no toothbrush and tooth paste will be supplied- but we found that no room slippers, which is a standard in Taiwan hotel, were supplied. Any amenities must be purchased at the reception at TWD100!
