We had a very comfortable stay at the Port Douglas Retreat. The property is beautifully landscaped and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The resort is close to Port Douglas’s attractions- walking easily to the magnificent 4 mile beach, the Marina and of course McCrossan St. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Great, quiet location - 150 metres to the beach and only a 5-10 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and wharf. Clean and tidy rooms and the hosts/managers were very friendly and welcoming. Free undercover parking, washing facilities and pool just outside our room. While the rooms would be considered a little dated, they were clean, comfortable and convenient, we’d definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location is perfect. Service and amenities were great. Room and laundry were clean. Pool area was lovely. Only downsides were we found our beds very uncomfortable and the birds and kids walking past during the night were very loud but eat plugs did solve this issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely consider staying here again.

A good location close to the Main Street and Marina. Nice pool. Simple room facilities, disappointing about the uncomfortable bed. Two singles joined but a large ridge in the bed that was very prominent making for a restless night sleep.
