This was absolutely superb! The warm welcome, the interior, the breakfast, all the great recommendations from Eriko, help with transfer and so on. It felt more like being invited into someone's home than staying in a hotel. The location is also great. Only a few minutes from the bustling life of the Medina, but still very quiet when you are in the Riad. If I ever go back to Marrakesh I most certanly will book a stay at this gem again.

Everything about Riad Sakura was lovely. Eriko was friendly, helpful and has decorated the place especially beautifully. The beds are comfy, there is plenty of hot water, tea and a kettle in each room, delicious breakfast and friendly cats that kept my kids occupied. The room has a mezzanine floor, which my son really liked, as it felt like he had his own private space a bit. It would be nice if dinner was available on request after a tiring day, but there are plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes, so it certainly wouldn't stop me going back. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Honestly i booked this Riad on a whim as my flight changed & wanted to stay in the medina. I wish I'd been able to stay longer. The location was great, the room was cozy. All around great place. I'd definitely stay there again when I come back to Marrakech.

Beautiful house with a rooftop terrace where guests can relax. Excellent location, just where the market starts. We felt welcomed and very well looked after by the host, helped us get a transfer from the airport and even gave us a map to get around Marrakech easily. It was a very relaxing stay. In the city centre but without the noise

The riad is 2 min away from souk and 15 from jamae el fna. It's really quiet so we slept really well. Breakfast was really tasty and generous. Rooms are clean and well decorated. The staff are very friendly and Eriko us always available for any questions or help needed. We had a lovely 3 days. I highly recommended this riad

A perfect riad for a few days visit in Marrakech

We had a 3-night stay in Riad Sakura and everything was perfect. Eriko has been an amazing host and she welcomed us once we got off the car and walked us to the riad (a 3 to 5 minutes walk because the riad is located in a small lane that car is not accessible). We traveled with a 5 year old kid and she also liked the stay. Breakfast was excellent and had rotated a bit so we did not get bored. We would definiately recommend this place to any friends who are travelling to Marrakech.

We cannot rave highly enough about our stay at this beautiful, clean, elegant, and comfortable Riad in the heart of Marrakech. The hostess, Ericko, was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the boutique-decorated rooms were spacious and clean. The terrace on the roof was the perfect place to relax during the day in between brief sojourns to all the nearby tourist sites within the Medina. Breakfast was a panoply of delicious Moroccan delicacies, with plenty of coffee, tea, juice, and pastries! A perfect little spot for our trip to Marrakech.

Our stay at Riad Sakura is the highlight of our visit to Morocco. Staff, service and property management are exceptional. Daily breakfast served on rooftop was delicious and nutritious with a lot of options and nice views. Room and bathroom are very aesthetic and comfortable, equipped with everything needed for a trip. Eriko herself is very pleasant and kind. She contacted prior to arrival and offered airport transfers which was a great help. One day during our stay we had to leave early for a tour, and she and her staff accommodated us by serving us breakfast before we left. She also let us stay at Riad for couple of hours after check out which was very relaxing before our flight. We had a great experience and will highly recommend Riad Sakura for a place to stay in Marrakech.

What a find, it’s a wonderful haven!

This is an absolute gem of a place!! We feel very lucky to have stayed there, it is such a calm, peaceful and beautifully decorated haven away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. It is in a great location, with quick access to the shops of the Medina and the taxi access a short walk away. The owner Eriko and her staff will do everything possible to help you and make your stay feel really special, print boarding passes, give directions, advice, recommendations, bring trays of tea or coffee… Breakfast is delicious, filling and the local peanut sauce for the pancakes is yummy!! It’s 2 minutes from the taxi drop off point, follow signs for Riad Chafia, door is on the right side before t junction.
The roof area has a variety of seating, tables, sun loungers, sun and shade
There are 2 special little owners who live there and will share the love!

This riad was AMAZING. A lot of attention to detail and very cozy. I loved the smell of the sheets and the design of the room and riad, in general. They greet you with biscuits and tea while you settle in and then you are welcome to sit up on the rooftop terrace with ease and comfort. If you are allergic to cats, I recommend alerting the host. They are there, but very sweet and curious. I am so excited to return in a couple days. Also, the location is very convenient to the medina/centre and is in a quiet location. All rooms have a garden view. The breakfast is served on the upstairs terrace and looks divine. I would stay here again and again.

A Stylish, Relaxing Riad with Incredible Hospitality This Riad is located right inside the souk, making it extremely convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The interior is fashionably designed, spotlessly clean, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace — relaxing, delicious, and a wonderful way to start the day. Eriko-san, the owner, is incredibly kind and gracious. She’s very knowledgeable about Marrakech and offers helpful recommendations for sightseeing and tours — including desert trips and transportation arrangements. Although we had already booked a tour on our own (which turned out to be a bit disappointing), it became clear that consulting with her in advance would have been the better choice. I highly recommend reaching out to her before your stay for reliable and personalized suggestions. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I had an amazing experience. There were no issues and everything feels so personal. Rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy. Room has a mini-split so you control your temperature. Water temperature and pressure is EXCELLENT. Right in the middle of shops but still extremely quiet. I got excellent sleep. Highly recommend!
