The check in experience was terrible. My mastercard was compromised so I did not have it on hand. My back up credit card is an American express. The front desk clerk did not even know what it was, and whether the hotel would accept it. Once we realized it didn't work, I tried to use my debit card on both machines. The machines didn't work. My son tried his debit card. The machines wouldn't take it either. The front desk clerk sent me across the street to an ATM because the one at the hotel was broken. She sent me to the wrong gas station. I finally got cash out of the ATM. It was the worse check in experience I ever had, and the whole process was embarrassing because there were about 10 people in line behind me. My debit card worked perfectly fine every other store I've been to. Honestly, I should be receiving a partial refund for the complete embarrassment and aggravation.
