10/10 Excepcional
16 feb. 2026
We stayed for a week and loved it.
Slightly out of town (about a 5-10 min walk) which can be a bit of a pain particularly if it is belting down with snow, but it is manageable. We ate dinner in town every night, so had to walk up/down each day... it is a decent uphill to get into town but not terrible. We also walked it a couple of times in ski-boots - after night skiing and on the last day after dropping off skis.
Our room was simple but clean, with plenty of space There is a public onsen (separate men and women), but there's also a couple of brand new western-style showers (a private shower, but shared between a couple of rooms) if you prefer that.
Drying room seemed large enough for everyone's gear - although I suspect a lot of folk took pants/jackets back to their rooms (we were lucky that it wasn't very wet while we were there).
Breakfast is included (cereal, juice, toast, fruit, bacon and eggs, Nespresso coffee + tea). Fairly basic fare, but it was a great start to the day.
The shuttle service is REALLY helpful. There's 4 different local resorts and being able to be dropped off/picked up without having to pay for (and wait for) the public bus was a huge plus. Depending on which guests are going where, it sometimes meant being dropped off slightly earlier or slightly later than you'd prefer... but we were flexible so it never impacted us at all. We also got picked up and dropped off to the Myoko-Kogen train station which was very handy.
The staff were super frie
