Modernes Hotel mit ein paar Mankos

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb von Marsala in einer nicht ganz so interessanten Gegend. Das Hotel ist offensichtlich noch recht neu, dennoch zeigen sich bereits erste Abnutzungserscheinungen. Von den Nachbarzimmern hörte man relativ viele Geräusche, was nicht unbedingt für eine gute Bauqualität spricht. Der Baukörper umschließt einen relativ schön gestalteten Innenhof und die Gänge zu den Zimmern sind offen zum Innenhof. Im Bad haben wir Ablageflächen vermisst, das Zimmer war ansonsten zweckdienlich ausgestattet. Eine Sitzmöglichkeit auf dem Zimmer gab es nicht. Der bereitgestellte Minibar-Kühlschrank hatte trotz Anschluss am Strom keine Funktion und hat nicht gekühlt. Die Fernbedienung für Klimaanlage und Fernseher mussten wir uns an der Rezeption abholen, was ich so noch in keinem anderen Hotel erlebt habe und ich habe bestimmt schon 1000 Hotels in allen möglichen Ländern besucht. zeitgleich zu unserem Aufenthalt gastierte auch eine größere Schülergruppe, die allerdings zum Glück nur bis etwa Mitternacht Lärm machte. Zum Frühstück wurden wir mit einem abgegrasten Buffet konfrontiert und es dauerte sehr lange, bis das Personal für die anderen Gäste auffüllte. Die dann nachgefüllten Speisen waren von guter Qualität. Parken ist direkt vor und hinter dem Haus möglich und der Parkplatz ist kostenlos.
