Worst experience ever….arrived after long day of biking only to find our reservations could not be honored because the gave our rooms to a larger group. Never received a cancellation notice. We did find another hotel at same price that was much nicer.

Very nice location; walk to the beach or into the old town was easy. Room was comfortable. The shower, of course, had the usual European design that spreads water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit tricky for my wife who has mobility problems. There was also a metal shelf placed along the bedroom wall which was a bit of a hazard. We liked the wheelchair lift to the dining area. On the other hand, also typically European, the thresholds for every doorway were awkward for a wheelchair with small wheels. Meals were excellent; breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Part of the visit occurred when the restaurant had closed for rennovations and guests ate in the bar. Dinner coincided with a big rain storm that caused a bad leak over the bar, yet staff and guests together were cheerful and helpful, almost enjoying the sense of catastrophy. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay, good value and very convenient to Køge. Don't miss a side trip to the park at Vallø Castle, which is a short drive south from the hotel.

Vi var der kun 1 nat. Der var fred og ro, smuk udsigt, dejlige senge og den lækreste morgenbuffet. Hotellet er fra 1890'erne tror jeg, men selvfølgelig renoveret og vedligeholdt og meget charmerende.

Dette hotel er en perle. Værelset er lækkert med en god seng, en sofa som også er sovesofa, to stole ved et lille bord, en stol og en puff, skønt badeværelse med lækre sæber og en smuk udsigt. Der er en lille altan med god udsigt og to stole at sidde på. Her er plads til 3 sovende men jeg valgte at rejse alene denne gang.

Ingen rengøring i 5 dage?! Det har vi aldrig prøvet før. Der var beskidt på døre samt badeværelse langs brusekabine. Der kunne godt være noget kaffe/te eller andet man kunne købe om aftenen der var intet, en af de ansatte havde manglende servicepleje overfor gæster. (Høj kvinde) beliggenheden fint :-)

En morgenmad som opvejer mangler ved opholdet
Hyggeligt hotel men trænger dog til renovation ude og inde. Rengøringen var ikke særlig god og desværre blev det ikke bedre selvom jeg havde gjort opmærksom. Støv på fladerne og fluer i vinduerne :0( øv. Morgenmaden var til gengæld super god. Hjemmebagte, langtidshævede boller, lækkert ost, pålæg mv. Yoghurt og chiagrød honningtavle og andre lækre detaljer :0)
