I always check the bed sheets first when I book a hotel, and this place was nothing like the photos on Hotels.com or the motel’s own website.
The sheets that were supposed to be white had turned yellow and were covered in stains.
The green blanket was dirty, and the room smelled strongly of mold and dampness — it hit me the moment I walked in.
Even in cold weather, I had to leave the window open because the smell was unbearable.
The mattress had completely sunk in the middle, and my back hurt so much that I couldn’t sleep properly for two nights.
Everything felt old and neglected — the kitchen cabinets creaked, the fridge door was dented, and the appliances were sticky with grease.
The bathroom corners were full of dust, and the towels were thin, yellowed, and rough like they’d been used for decades.
There were even flies flying around and dead ones on the floor — I took photos of everything because I couldn’t believe it.
I wasn’t expecting a luxury hotel, but for this price, the condition was shocking.
It honestly felt like a run-down 1960s roadside motel from an old movie.
Please replace the bedding and mattress immediately, and update the online photos to show the real condition of the room.
