The hotel claimed to accept credit cards, however, upon checkout, the hotel claimed that my credit card did not go through. My credit card company, at the time of checkout, told me that the hotel had not even tried to run the charge, so,cash payment in Niara was mandated by hotel clerk. My clothing was ruined when the hotel did my laundry - covered with black marks. Housekeepers refused to bring fresh towels during last 2 days of my stay, probably in retaliation for my complaining about the laundry. I called them for 5 hours, then was finally given 1 fresh towel, not 2. (the housekeeper told the hotel clerk that they did bring 2 towels, which was a lie). Guests were required to walk through a plastic tent which sprayed an unknown chemical, stating you were being "disinfected". The music in the restaurant and bar was '80's music.
