Have recently stayed to attend a local wedding, we had three rooms, facilities were just what we needed, clean room, comfortable beds, staff all polite, professional and helpful, breakfast had everything you needed, food very good. Would stay again , also close to local tourist attractions too.

Had a lovely 3 night stay , great location the view having breakfast is amazing you can see Bamburg castle in the distance. Lovely friendly staff ,food good and the rooms good size , and again with the view . We would stay again .

Unsure of what the place would be like on the A1, we were completely satisfied with the hotel, food, service and friendliness of the staff. Great value for money AND it was quiet. Our window had a view of Bamburgh Castle albeit 5 miles away.

A great room, restaurant and friendly staff. The room was clean with a good supply of coffee, tea, biscuits etc. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was spot on, ditto the bar which had a good choice of drinks. The location was perfect for local tourist spots which for us included Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles and Cragside. The only small change that i would make would be to include a fuller set of toiletries and perhaps extend breakfast to a 10 cut off.

Situated on the A1 and perfect for visiting the Northumberland coast!.. All rooms have a pleasant view over the fields across to the coast.Rooms clean and comfortable! Staff helpful and pleasant... Our second visit and will return again!

Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds and a decent TV,nice views over farmland . Food was nice especially the full English, the girls at the bar and waiting tables were very friendly, right on the A1 but still quiet, would recommend,, especially if you like dogs5

This was ideally situated for our needs to visit Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Fantastic view across to Bamburgh Castle. Good WiFi and plenty of plugs. Breakfast and evening meals were also good. Would definitely come again.
