We extended our stay in Malabo to 5 days and were going to stay the full time in Bisila but ended up checking out early because of the lack of quality, the laziness and rude behaviour of the staff, championed by Trinidad. Her disregard for clients and lack of responsiveness compared with her vigor and energy invested in providing excuses and blaming the customer for everything that was wrong was a wonder to behold.
Some structural nuisances also … air conditioning mediocre, toiletries scant and scarce, keys never work more than once, beds cushionless, damp pervading everywhere, for the price it’s poor and dated.
The only saving grace is the kitchen staff who are cheery and willing to satisfy customers despite some mediocre buffet fare.
