I was very disappointed with my stay and this all comes down to how this place is managed. I only gave it two stars because the rooms were new.
I did not have a problem with the reduced opening of reception (7am to 7pm) when booking this hotel, but during my stay I barely saw the receptionists at the reception. There was only a sign to say to call them if needed. This was a huge problem for me, since my international phone plan did not work and it lead to some incidents:
-I had to wait in the lobby 45mins to check-in even though I was there only 30mins after the official check-in time.
-In the room I was given the bathroom smelled like sewage for two days before I saw somebody in the reception to have it fixed.
-I had to ask the cleaner to get the receptionist so that I could find out what was going on when I was switching rooms (the first one was very loud, even with ear plugs)
The worst incident however, was when my hotel room door was left open. I told three different receptionist about this, but did not receive any message from the management. I had to ask for it specifically. If this incident was truly "taken seriously" I would have assumed they would have reached out to me, but they did not. Additionally, I found it quite peculiar that they could reach out to me thought the hotels.com chat when asking for my email for the manager to send me a generic response but they could not do it while I had a confusion about the room change issue.
Will not be staying here again.
