Arrived at Noon - told that check-in was at 3:00. Was charged $15 ($5 per hour) to check in three hours early despite the room being empty and ready at Noon. There’s no place to hang clothes. The bedspread had several cigarette burn holes. There were only two small towels. Returning at about 11:00 pm one night, was approached outside by a woman who asked me if I was a police officer. When I said I wasn’t, she asked me if I was married. I waved her away and she said, “Just asking.” Yeah, right. Now I’m no Sherlock Holmes but I’m old enough to know two things: (1) she was a lady of the evening and (2) she was one question away from asking if I wanted company. I go to Indianapolis every year but in the future, I’ll sleep in my Subaru rather than stay here again.
