Great stay a the Stag - bar staff were excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic . Rooms were spacious and really really clean and comfortable with comfy beds and great bathrooms . Parking was really easy and the welcome was superb .

This is a charming little pub in Salhouse not far from Salhouse Broads where you can have lovely walks through woodland down to the Broads. There is a great garden center only 5 minutes away where you can have a lovely breakfast or a couple of facilities where you can eat.

The room was clean, and comfortable and a good shower in the En-Suite. Lack of shelves to put anything. The way to the rooms was via where beer barrels were kept and the floor was quite sticky and a little smelly. The room itself and location was fine for the one night stay we had and a reasonable price.

It was very good. The room was very clean, spacious and well maintained. The parking situation was excellent as were the staff. No complaints at all and highly recommend.

Lovely room above the main pub. The room is quite small and would benefit from some storage solutions for things like suitcases and towels. I would also say it needs some artwork on the bedrooms walls! That being said, it is very stylishly done and the pub is very nice with good food. I would certainly recommend!

The stag Salhouse what an Amazing place !!!

Steve (landlord) what a great and warm welcome. Couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in the “oak” room and what a room. The “double”shower was absolutely amazing and so spacious Everything inside the room was well kept and clean !! The stag is a lovely country pub with a restaurant inside too and definitely did not disappoint!!! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. A small menu which always a great sign as the food would be great and it definitely was !! The staff was quick and couldn’t do enough for you either.

Lovely friendly check in. Room had no hooks in bedroom or bathroom for towels. No mirror in bedroom. Sink was so small that water splashed everywhere. Windows wouldnt stay open and when wedged open then smell of cooking oil.

Good, but needing some thought.

First impressions were not good, as entrance to rooms was through a passage that smelt of urine, and had barrels of beer to side. Then up steep stairs to new pleasant corridor to rooms. Room was new, clean and pleasant, but lacked certain items i.e. hooks for coats etc. and places to put personal items - washbag, case, bags etc.

A nice little gem of a place, easy parking and check in. Very clean and comfortable room/bed. Great bar with good selection of drinks, only issue was the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday's. But I managed to order something in to the pub and very helpful lady provided me with a plate & cutlery.

Lovely location with a good selection of well kept rooms. The bathrooms are gorgeous! Booked 3 of the 4 rooms for one night before our family holiday to the Broads and we were not disappointed. Staff were superb, rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. There's a fantastic farm shop just down the road for breakfast. Not a bad word to say here - will be back if in the area!

Really great, absolutely spotless room. Lovely shower. As some of the other reviews suggest, it could do with some hooks for coats and bath towels, and maybe a shelf for toiletries in the shower.
