A great welcome on arrival, the hotel is a fine old building, the restaurant having fabulous wood panelling. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. We are walking the circular Herefordshire Trail and return back to Ledbury, where we look forward to staying again.

This hotel is a delight with its history and character. The room we stayed in was nicely furnished, and very comfortable. Food at breakfast and dinner was of a high quality with generous portions and we found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. We certainly hope to return in future.

A little gem! The staff were very friendly and there was just a good vibe to the place. The food was excellent in the restaurant. There were 6 of us and we couldn't fault anything. We will be back.

really nice staff. Interesting quirky old building. understandably hard to keep up to modern standards but one or two areas did need attention. Having said that, we would stay again. Hearty breakfast included was a plus.

Wanted a single night and it was ideal. Car park close by; high street and food outlets minutes away and hotel provided a good night, food and hosts.

Staff and service were excellent. Food was 1st class. We had three breakfasts there and all were well presented and fresh and tasty. We had a evening meal there (6 of us) and the main menu had plenty of choice ,well priced and really good. Just one small niggle we were in the twin room No 5 and because of the age of the building the ceiling height was very low. The room decor was a little dated . Our other friends were i the "stable block" and these rooms were very new and fresh and spacious. We would stay there again but in a taller room .

Lovely old inn, plenty of character. Rooms clean, nice bed linen and towels. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly. Air-conditioning would have been appreciated but wasn't expected and really is seldom needed in the UK. Pleasant to sit in the beer garden for drinks and snacks.
