The area felt safe and well-lit, the lobby nice and clean-but the rooms not so much. The elevator only worked on the 1st & 3rd floor. The elevator doors shut on you and don’t care if you’re there opening them, they’ll keep squeezing so you have to forcefully pull them apart to finish loading/unloading the elevator. The microwave didn’t work in our room & there wasn’t a single trash can either. A hint of mothballs fills the room, but at least the a/c worked and was nice and cold. It was a last minute stay bc we had gotten a nail in our tire, so we only slept there for a few hours before hitting the road again. We skipped out on the breakfast bc it didn’t look appealing at all whatsoever. We’ve been staying at a different hotel each night on this trip, & this one was pretty bad. I would not want to stay there again, nor recommend it for a full night’s stay, but it was fine to sleep there safely for a few hours as we needed. Everything else was much more expensive, so you get what you pay for.
