Nightmare

It was the most disappointing apartment that a have ever stayed. You can read the reasons below. 1) We found sand and hair among the apartment. Sweeping and mopping was rarely done. Just bedded beds by the housekeepers 2) The beds were terrible. The layer was wavy and very very hard to sleep. 3) One air-condition never worked. 4) Just two electricity sockets worked correctly. We paid about €80 per night in an apartment that might be 30 years old without breakfast for 3 nights. Big mistake. Don’t see the pictures, stay away.

Value for money

We went off-season, and it was very quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The property is basic and tired, but the price was reasonable. The location suited us - away from the main town, but with some shops, restaurants, and a nice patisserie .

Friendly and relaxed

Can't rate this accomadation highly enough, perfect location, friendly owners and nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely and we spent hours on the balcony looking out at olive groves and the sea in the distance. It's a short walk into Polis which is a chilled Cypriot village with fab taverna's and great people. Everything you need on your doorstep, supermarket, bakery and taverna over the road. it's exactly what we love, relaxed and friendly, 5 star all inclusive accommodation is not cup of tea and this place ticked all our boxes. Would recommend and will be back!

buona posizione, pessimo il resto!!!

l'hotel ha una struttura ed una posizione molto buone, ma la scarsa ospitalità e la inesistente pulizia e manutenzione lo rendono sconsigliabile!!! lenzuola ed asciugamani visibilmente sporche, probabilmente non lavate dall'uso degli ospiti precedenti; la piscina sarebbe invitante ma è trascurata, il bar a bordo piscina è chiuso!!! internet a pagamento 5 euro al giorno è un peccato che un struttura con tali potenzialità sia gestita così male!!

Da evitare per coppie dello stesso sesso

La realtà della struttura è molto deludente in rapporto alla descrizione dei servizi e alle foto sul sito internet. La proprietaria, descritta in molti commenti come gentile,affabile e simpatica, non riserva un caloroso benvenuto alle coppie dello stesso sesso e si è rivelata alquanto fredda e scortese.

Alkionest Hôtel à Polis Chypre

Peu de monde en cette période (11/06 au 21/06/12) la situation géographique est correcte mais elle peut être un peu loin du coeur de Polis et du bord de mer (à pieds) pour certains. La piscine est appréciable car peu fréquentée certainement liée la période ! Tarifs intéressants pour cette période: 2 nuits payées 1 gratuite

Delightful stay

The staff were very friendly & helpful & the rooms were very well equipped & cleaned daily. The hotel was very serene & in a good situation to access Polis & it's eateries supermarkets. A delightful quiet spot.

Convenient hotel in the outskirts of Polis, calm and with good standards. Rather big room and kitchen with balcony. Nice garden with swimming pool. You need to have a car.
