Freezing pods. No electricity.
The room was very cold, and the pod had no power — guests couldn’t charge phones or devices. Multiple people complained about this at the front desk while I was there. This is not a “quirk”; it’s a basic failure that wasn’t disclosed before booking.
I disclosed a medical condition that affects my tolerance to cold. Instead of professionalism, I was met with dismissive, belittling behavior. Addressing basic warmth took hours and should never have been an issue in the first place.
Then came the absurd part: I was charged €3 for a tiny cup of hot water after being told the coffee machine was the only option — while a kettle sat visibly available in the shared kitchen. That moment captured the tone of the stay: unnecessary friction over basic needs.
Requests for management contact details were refused. From the start, staff interactions felt unwelcoming and dismissive. I was unable to complete my stay and had to secure accommodation elsewhere. Resolution only occurred after escalation through Hotels.com / Expedia.
This experience was completely inconsistent with what the listing and reviews suggest. If you value warmth, electricity, or being treated with basic respect — proceed with caution.
