It is an attractive property, but had some shortages. I am particular and have used many rentals. These are the things that I would have wanted, compared to others, and may sound as if I am too particular. I acknowledge that. "As I recall," the listing indicated there was a carport with parking in the rear. We arrived after dark, and since there was no lighting in the alley, could not find a carport (doesn't exist), and could not get the gate to open. Fortunately, there was parking available on the street. We felt that we were performing a comedy routine as three almost octogenarians struggled with suitcase and cane up the uneven front steps to get to the property. The interior stairs to the second floor were very steep, and the ones to the basement were-well, I don't know, because no one wanted to descent them to the washer/dryer. Just think the listing might need to have a bit more information about the steps and access, especially for us flatlanders. The instructions for property use were a bit antiseptic; a little more friendly would have been nice. We felt the outdoor furniture was not very clean or welcoming. Since we usually spend time outside, we were disappointed. I frequently comment, and this one is no different, that the property needs tables--side tables in the living room and bedrooms.--a table to place your phone, your book, or your drink. Otherwise, it was good-good ac, well stocked kitchen, nice linens, comfortable furnishings.
