Not a bad place for the price. It's a hotel with no human interaction. Everything is communicated through text and codes are used to get around. They have bottles for water and a refilling station for water and ice. Paid parking on site/ across the street, as well as free parking lots nearby.
The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and you can stream movies. I loved that the tv could rotate to fave the bed or couch. Both of which were very comfortable.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops within a 5-10 minute walk. Downtown Charleston is a 20 minute drive. Other sights (a few big plantations, Mt. Pleasant, USS Yorktown, beaches) are a car ride away. Ubers were about $20 to some locations.
I didn't know what to expect with this hotel and was very pleased with it and the location!
