A good value

The hotel is right on the seafront; it is quite rundown, and the room was very basic, but the beds were comfortable. The breakfast included omelettes cooked to order and various Indian dishes. The great location, sea-facing window, and warm, helpful staff made our overall experience very pleasant

Good value for the price. Convenient location close to Gateway of India. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade.

Things I liked about the Hotel was the good location, near the sea and several tourist attractions. I also liked the rooftop bar and spent several evenings there. The breakfast had a indish buffet (but you could get toasted bread or boiled egg or omelette). I missed fresh coffee at the breakfast though. One thing that was a bit odd is that the cleaners didn’t seem to have access to the rooms, so that you had to leave your keycard at the reception if you wanted cleaning. The staff was pretty service oriented and I got good attention from them. All in all I am satisfied with my stay here.

No frills hotel but the bed was comfortable, the AC worked and there was running hot water. The room was plain and small. The sea view room that we booked was not available (despite having called and confirmed a day prior) but they did provide a smaller non view room. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.

Aweful hotel Miserable staff never polite,never smile We asked waiter if we could take our breakfast outside to be told a definite NO !! once we had finished breakfast we sat outside and a good few guests probably Indian were allowed!!they probably dislike us Brits. No warm water for shower,I couldn’t even be bothered addressing this with them. The rooms were small but okay. We would never ever return Next doors outside dining and drinking area is nice though.

Noticed lots of baby cockroaches moving around. The bathroom sink was cracked. The pillow was too blown up, not a good quality.

Not cleaned properly, dust everywhere, found small cockroaches the first day, could easily smell smoke from the smokers next room, mini dridge not working, location of hotel is pretty nice though

Excellent Hotel

The Sea Palace Hotel is in the most amazing location overlooking the harbour and 2 mins walk from the Gateway to India. Lots of shopping and excellent places to eat and drink in the vicinity. Also the hotel had its own roof top bar/restaurant which is lovely in the evenings. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Mumbai. I already recommending this hotel to my friends. Thank you Sea Palace Hotel for a most remarkable stay in Mumbai. It was a nice and quiet place. Staff was helpful and was generous enough to keep my bags for 4 extra hours after checkout. The rooftop restaurant and bar was super awesome. Room was ok except that the AC in my room was not working and was not responding to the remote. Not a big deal as it was not hot. But something the hotel should make sure it works before someone checks in.

I have paid for single room and arrived 23.50 pm at the hotel. They said I had not paid, they didn’t find the reservation and it took them one hour to give me a room as walk in, when I had previously paid for the room
