I wanted to say that everything was excellent however, that isn’t the case. It just wasn’t as I expected. We were disappointed right from the very beginning. I called from the airport at 5:30 while waiting for my next plane, and told them that we were going to be coming in late. We would arrive about 930. I asked the to call me back to find out how to check in. No return call. called me. We arrived at the property at 9:30. We called three times. No one answered and we could not get in. There isn’t an office. I ended up calling Hotels.com who originally booked us the trip and after being online with them for a good 20 minutes, they were able to reach the owner and he walked us through the check-in process. The room is nice however it is tiny, tiny, tiny, which that in itself was fine. The next day we got up to use the pool and lo and behold. The next day we attempted to use the pool. The patio is literally coved in dead leaves and debris. But worse, the pool had a fowl odor and green slime on all the walls. It was gross. The pool hadn’t had chlorine in weeks. I couldn’t stay. I never did find the hot tub. And I never saw any staff at all, the whole time entire time we were there. Needless to say, we won’t be back, and it’s disappointing because we really thought this place would be great.
