Stunning location and ocean views from the bungalow veranda. The team were excellent and the complimentary breakfast fixings for the first day was a bonus. There are lots of eating options nearby (walkable) which was great too. The ability to rent EV cars directly was fantastic too. Highly recommend 😊

Direkt ifrån ankomst en positiv upplevelse. Vi hade bokat en premium bungalow, slogs av att allting var rent, nytt och fräscht! Vi hade alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter och fick all service vi kunde förvänta oss. Ett par trevliga restauranger inom gångavstånd. Definitivt ett 4-stjärnigt boende som kan rekommenderas!

Love magic reef bungalows! The location is beautiful and so peaceful with the ocean view right from our bungalow! The pool was so nice and our room had AC and wifi, everything was perfect for our holiday! The staff are so kind and welcoming we definitely hope to come back one day soon!

We had the most wonderful stay at Magic Reef Bungalows and could not have asked for a better experience. The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunning sunsets and relaxed atmosphere of Rarotonga. A special thank you to Lawrence and Simonne for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment we were met at the airport, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their local knowledge, friendliness, and commitment to ensuring guests have a memorable stay truly set Magic Reef apart. We leave with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Magic Reef to anyone visiting Rarotonga. We can't wait to return!

Staff were amazing. Rooms were really nice. Having rental cars to hire start from magic reef was so convenient as finding a rental car was very hard once we moved locations. Would recommend staying here

The Magic Reef was just what we had in mind and we had a great stay. There was some early misses on how the fans, AC and stove worked but quickly remedied. The pool was attractive but no one actually uses it as the ocean around the island is much better. The conceiege and management were so nice and so accommodating. Hiking the needle was worth the time and effort. Bruce is the best guide - try to get in a small group, even if in the afternoon. We hope to be back some day

We would recommend Magic Reef for an excellent trip. Very lovely place and owners. We were greeted with a great fruit platter, fresh squeezed orange juice and a breakfast bread. Wonderful visit to Rarotonga.

Great location on the coast which doesn't get as much wind as some of the other parts of the island. Great place to stay and awesome hosts. Electric rental cars at a reasonable price if you want to go exploring.

We rented e-bikes and were able to get to town, dive shop and snorkling reefs just fine. I felt safe waking and biking along the roadsThere are 6 good restaurants within walking distance (15 min). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bungalos are clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the garden, bungalo porch and beachfront hammock.

My husband and I had a fabulous holiday at the beautiful Magic Reef Bungalows. The bungalows have every amenity (including reliable wifi) and are incredibly comfortable. The gardens, pool and beach front are immaculately maintained with gorgeous views, especially at sunset. Lawrence and Simone were welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be returning with our whole family next year.

Simone and Lawrence have made Magic Reef a unique and wonderful holiday getaway. Bungalows are right on the beach. Excellent ocean view from the deck of our bungalow. Staff and crew are amazing. Electric cars for rent if you don’t want to take the bus that you can catch right up the road. Excellent snorkeling just up the beach and many restaurant options within walking distance. I would highly recommend Magic Reef for your Rarotonga holiday.

Perfection in paradise. Beachfront with pool for afternoon swims. BBQ area and beachfront dining/seating. peaceful and private. Well looked after by our hosts. Comfortable and clean rooms. Bathe outside at night and look at the stars. Ev's and bikes for hire. A short walk to one of the best cafe's on the island. R and R easy at Magic Reef Bungalows.

Air conditioning in main room missing. No instructions on how to use range top. Owner on vacation and nobody was shown how to work it. So we really couldn’t cook on it. When I got it to work after 10 minutes it shut off.

Property and room are cute. Staff are friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient to be able to rent a vehicle from the property. Aside from the friendly service and great amenities, the property did not exceed in individual guest service and villa maintenance. I booked a king bed villa yet my villa was setup as 2 twin beds in preparation for the guests who arrive after me, as explained by management. I expected the property to prepare for my stay before the next guest after me. The bathtub for my villa did not hold water. This was a known issue but not repaired before my stay. This amenity was a part of the reason I booked but I wa unable to enjoy this in my room.
