Hotel is in a great location! Rooms are very clean but noise travels between them. Main entrance door doesn’t lock right away which would help security. No local TV either. Otherwise a great property.

The design is Danish minimalist, with wood & black metal furniture and a rough exposed-brick wall. I liked it, but it may not be for everyone. There is no reception desk or even reception area. You use a code to open the front door, leading to a long hallway to the elevator in the back. There's another code to enter the room. The room was well equipped with bath robes, coffee machine, snacks, & water. Shower was great. I never saw any staff other than a guy mopping the hall floor. Unusual hotel, but I liked it!

Room was minimal but had all the essentials. Clean and modern with enough space. I love the concept of not having to deal with droves of travelers. I wouldn’t recommend for a romantic getaway but it was cool for solo business travel.

Me and my partner enjoyed our one night stay. Rooftop is a vibe. The room aesthetically was nice, would have liked a room with nice view, only complaint is the walls are so thin you can hear other people.

Everything about the hotel in terms of its cleanliness, location, and staff were excellent. What only marred the trip was trouble with the electronic check-in and check-out process, as well as issues with accessing the hotel. The room was itself quite plain with concrete floors and walls, though it offered great TV, robes, and bathroom.

Simple electronic check-in. Superb building design, rooms. Outstanding rainfall shower, plenty of hot water and A/C worked perfectly. Rooftop deck…quiet retreat, great views. Plenty of parking decks to use in center city. Great location in the heart of center city. Easy walk to surrounding neighborhoods like Rittenhouse.

The room was very cute but very hot. The AC was broken and it took over two hours to get my room changed to the one next door. The AC hardly worked in the second one, but it was 4 degrees cooler than the 78/79 degrees than it was in the room before. Not very accommodating. The room has chips on the floor, so the floors definitely weren’t cleaned. No front desk, so you can’t send any mail there. The online check in was very easy to do on your own. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Since the hotel is fairly new, everything felt modern, clean, and well maintained. Most services are self-service, including check-in, virtual room keys, check-out, and room maintenance requests, which wasn’t an issue for me but may not appeal to everyone. The main drawback was the water temperature in the bathroom, which was inconsistent and often didn’t get very warm until later in the evening. It was a minor frustration during my stay. Another inconvenience was the parking situation—there’s no on-site parking garage, so guests have to park at a nearby public garage and walk to the hotel. On the plus side, the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and other attractions within walking distance. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again if I needed an affordable hotel option in Philadelphia.

I liked the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The rooftop was really nice and added to the experience. One thing to keep in mind is that they are very strict with their check-in policy. If check-in is at 3:00 PM, don’t expect to get your room much earlier than that—maybe 20 minutes early at most. We also didn’t receive the security link until the day of check-in, even though it’s supposed to be sent 24 hours in advance. Once I called the hotel, the representatives were very helpful and resolved the issue quickly. The only downside was that the AC didn’t seem strong enough during the middle of the night. It either stopped working or was barely blowing any air. The coffee machine also wasn’t working. Also, keep in mind that the rooms aren’t very soundproof. I could hear conversations from other guests across the hallway. It would be great if the hotel could add lockers so we can store our luggages after our stay.

Scammed us out of $135 extra for "damaged" linens. Everything seemed good during our stay. A barebones hotel without onsite staff or daily housekeeping, in a neat old building, for cheaper than any other hotel in the immediate area, seemed perfectly fine for us to have a few nights out of our apartment during a renovation. But then, after we checked out, we were informed that we were being charged for the duvet cover, duvet insert, top sheet, and all four pillowcases because they had "excessive pet hair and multiple stains" and "could not be restored through laundering". We told them upfront that we would have a dog and a cat, and we paid the additional pet fee prior to check in. It is possible that the staining from one of our dog's chews (an antler with marrow in it, we realize our mistake and won't be letting her chew it on white linens again) truly would not come out of the duvet cover, but to be charged for so many other bedding items because they simply had pet hair on them, after paying a pet fee, is ridiculous. At best, Sosuite needs to rethink their laundry set up if they are marketing themselves a hotel, and a pet friendly one at that. At worst, they are intentionally scamming customers into paying for made-up damages. Save yourself the drama and pay more upfront for a regular hotel, especially if you're traveling with pets.
