The bedding was extremely disappointing. There was no flat sheet between the comforter and the fitted sheet. My room was right beside the front door so when people went in and out, I heard the noise.

The pics do not do justice to the room. It is a gorgeous property. We were so happy with the large living space and the bathroom with soaker tub. Made up for the terrible weather.

Not recommended. Advertisement showed room with private bathroom and i was assigned a different room with no batroom and smaller. No AC, nor a fan and the room is hot at night. Answers were super slow, more than 20 hours later. The place did an open house without asking us and they opened the property, our room and there were people seeing the house without us being there. We returned to the hotel around noon because we forgot something and the whole house and rooms where open. The owner was surprised to see us there and she only said sorry.

The house is in a good neighborhood. But the room is very basic - bedding does not have top sheet. Towels are poor quality. We had to share a bathroom and it was not cleaned daily. There was broken bits of old soap that no one cleared. The shared small toilet was not even cleaned the 3 nights we were there. Poor hygiene standard. Someone seems to live there so the kitchen and public space is really not feasible to use. At night the person plays computer games and shouts. We thought he was angry and were scared! I texted management and they responded the next day after we checked out. They changed door code for security and a group of guests came back shouting for someone to open the door for them. Overall a bad experience. I would not recommend for the price of the space.

While the house has the impression of being clean we found it to be quite dirty. The floor was grimy to walk on with bare feet (in the room) and the baseboards were very dirty. The shower was musty and moldy upon arrival and its mat was saturated. Bed linens were clean and not musty which was great. Kitchen is shared access - not a problem except that you constantly feel like you’re being watched because the owner wears a mask and keeps walking through without saying anything. We had an odd check in, there was an open house happening when we arrived which we did not know about beforehand. Someone entered our room atleast once while we were out and left a trail of water. We have pictures. We do not know who, and fortunately, we have not noticed anything missing. Not a bad stay but we won’t stay again simply due to the challenges of the setup and not feeling like you have your own space (even with doors and windows closed)

The room was clean but the rest of the house was a bit of a mess. The fridge had food left in it and the garbage was foul smelling. There was dust on the fixtures, hair on the bathroom walls and the TV appears to be broken. The house had a general feeling of emptiness and being unloved. I only stayed one night of my stay and got a hotel the next morning.

The room is clean, and the property is well-maintained. The room pictures matched the actual room. The check-in & check-out process was smooth, and the host provided clear instructions. (Dear Expedia, please PAY ATTENTION to this.) However, the one thing I'm concerned about is when the host messaged me after we checked out, asking for my email address and the last 4 digits of my credit card without stating the purpose, which had never happened before. I found it very alarming and shady, and the host should have all the information they need from the platform. Please investigate this incident. The conversation history is in the app.

The room was very nice, clean, well appointed as described. What I found challenging was I did not receive actual info on how I was to access the property, which was said to have no on site staff, until 4 hours before my check-in time which I found very nerve-wracking. Because I had only had very impersonal boilerplate responses from host in spite of my asking a specific question, I did wonder if the booking was going to turn out to be a scam. BUT it turned out to be fine. My main problem was how to use the keypad on front door lock. Because host is familiar with that kind of keypad screen they do not realise that some never encountered one like it and do not understand how to use it. The keypad face was entirely black and smooth and it took some trial and error to learn how to use it. We did check in during the daylight after several attempts BUT when we returned after dark the black keypad proved extremely difficult to use. We failed many times, were concerned we would not succeed and did not know if any staff were on site. Better instructions: In order to light up the blank black screen you must FIRST touch the screen anywhere and THEN touch the four numbers for the code. I kept tying to guess where the position of the first code number would be on the invisible blank black screen so code entries were always wrong. It took us 10 minutes to finally succeed. A keypad with raised physical number buttons, or a lit up face would be much better.
