I’m sorry this is going to be a long review, but if you are considering staying at this hotel, please take the time to read it carefully.
The hotel’s location and surroundings are beautiful, and the views of the sea and pool are fantastic. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. In my opinion, this hotel is nowhere near 5-star standard it would struggle to deserve even 3 stars.
The staff are generally polite and friendly, but most of them appear to be trainee students, which is reflected in the overall level of service.
The rooms are extremely old, poorly maintained, and have an unpleasant smell. I stayed in a suite with a private pool, but the pool was so dirty that I didn’t even dare to use it. The bed was also in terrible condition completely worn out and sagging. If you stay here, be prepared to wake up with back pain.
The spa was undergoing renovation during our stay. Unfortunately, the smell of fresh paint and thinner was extremely strong, making it almost impossible to stay inside. We had no choice but to cancel our spa appointment.
The main pool is another major disappointment. Despite the beautiful surroundings, it is poorly maintained and dirty. What makes it worse is that the hotel allows outside guests to use the pool for a fee. At one point, a group of around 10–12 men from outside arrived, and the atmosphere suddenly became very uncomfortable and inappropriate for families.
Breakfast was average at best.
Do yourself a favor and think twice!
