Based on the photos I saw before my arrival, I had high expectations for my two-night stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to those expectations.
Upon arrival at 21:00, I was barely greeted by the receptionist. I was tired and very hungry, and although I was told the restaurant bar would be open until 22:00, it had already closed early that evening. I asked if there were any other food options available, but the receptionist was unable to assist me. Eventually, she pointed me toward a nearby restaurant and suggested I try there.
When I got to my room, I was disappointed to find that the promised queen-sized bed was actually two single beds pushed together. The room was also quite dusty. Additionally, there was a loud banging noise coming from the exterior window blinds. I tried to raise them, but the control button didn’t work, and I had to endure the noise throughout the night.
The following day, after returning from a long day at work, it appeared that my room hadn’t been properly cleaned. While the bed had been made, the bathroom told a different story: the towels I had left on the floor were still there, no fresh towels were provided, the surfaces were unclean, and there was a large bug near the sink. It seemed as though housekeeping had not serviced the room at all. I went down to complain, and all I was offered was a fresh towel.
Given the high price of the stay, I expected a much higher standard of service and cleanliness.
