The location is excellent, and we slept well. We had a room that was to the right of the elevator and kind of off on its own, so very quiet. That part was nice. However, the facility was not well cleaned. Our room was not well-vacuumed and the hallway was very grungy. The elevator needed to be swept out most of the weekend we were there. The first morning we were there we put out the Please Service our Room placard and then when housekeeping was on our floor we went down the lobby to work to be out of their way. But they didn't clean the room. I told the front desk and she said, "Oh, you have to tell me. They won't do that unless i put you on the list." There was no notice about this in the room, just the door hanging sign that you can put out. So we got on the list and when we got home that evening they had made the bed, but some coffee that had been spilled on the desk was not cleaned up and the room was poorly vacuumed.
That evening I went down to get more cups and coffee pods for the in-room coffee that was not restocked when they made up the bed, and no one was at the desk. I just ended up going behind the front desk into the closet and getting cups. when I came out there were people waiting who were hoping I worked there.
The overall place is nice enough - a bit worn and shabby - but the real problem is that it is clearly understaffed (and the staff are over-worked.)
