I recently stayed at Quality Inn in Deridder for four nights. The space itself was okay and served its purpose for a short visit while I was in town seeing family. One plus is that you can park right outside your door, which made coming and going very convenient.
The staff were friendly and I had no issues with them during my stay.
However, there were a few issues that made the stay less comfortable than expected. The room had a noticeable musty smell that didn’t go away. The setup was also inconvenient—I had to place the coffee maker on the floor just to plug it in. The refrigerator didn’t get cold enough to properly keep items chilled.
Breakfast was okay, not the best, but decent enough. For about $450 for four nights, I would say it’s manageable if you just need a place to sleep while visiting. Overall, not the best experience, but it gets the job done.
