Apartamentos Turísticos Club Ouratlântico

Was more than adequate for a group of friends to stay. Close to everything and always room at the pool!

The hotel was basic and the room furniture a little dated but spotlessly clean, had a nice pool area and was close to the strip (but not noisey), a short walk up the strip takes you to the tourist train to the old town. Our only letdown was that we explained one of our group struggled with stairs and we requested a ground floor room -we were given a two storey apartment (with a bed downstairs) with only an upstairs bathroom / toilet and no room availability to change rooms -this made things a bit tricky. The person sleeping downstairs also had to come into the main bedroom to access the bathroom-also a bit annoying during the night.

Reasonable accommodation, good sized room, maid service daily, could grumble about fridge which didn’t seem to keep cold and the cooker which didn’t seem to heat up as it should have! Pool area was decent, overall reasonable enough.

The location was great, beds were awful, two single cots/couches, had to sleep in separate beds and they were extremely hard. The studio was small and not well equipped. The pool was ok but really cold, in all fairness the weather in Portugal is colder than usual for this time of year.

Mixture of families, couples and groups of hens and stags. No issues while there. Accommodation is basic. Beds were still simple sofas when we got there which were heavy to move as they were at different ends of the large studio. 3 skinny lumpy pillows. Nice powerful shower and plenty of hot water in a clean bathroom. Plenty of space in the room. No air con and ground floor meant you couldn't leave the doors open to let air through so very warm at night. Location was good. Just st a few metres from some good restaurants Invictus and Sizzlng Stone.
