Not safe for women alone
I arrived in Oceanside at night and had my reservation at this motel. A weird man was talking to me while I was doing my check-in, and then the man went to knock my room's door. I could hear him sighing. Thankfully he didn't force the door and I didn't open, but the experience was awful and very scary. After a while, I couldn't hear him anymore, so I looked through the window and I saw him parked in the motel's parking area. Since there were other 2 people in the parking area, I decided to leave the motel.
They gave me my money back because I had just arrived, and the woman in the reception was nice and walked me to the next hotel, but still, I think unfortunately the place is not safe for a woman traveling alone. I bet this does not happen often, but I want to warn that the place is not nice at night, there is no security.
Also, the rooms are kind of depressing.
