8/10 Very good

Chek-in is complicared after office hours, unless contacted Tourist Lodge and got guidance, how to proceed. Transportation is near. Bus station is quite near and train station within 10 .. 15 minutes walk. Walls are thin. Others hear well, what you are doing and counterwise.
Unto, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I liked the quiet, the ensuite and security. It was all I wanted for a one night stopover.
Howard, 1-night trip

Very happy with the room we got. Was better than we expected, thankyou.
Ian, 1-night trip

Comfortable and clean thanks. Only issue was cold shower.
Gary, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Would possibly have been ok if there hadn't been a terrible sewerage type smell, which was very sickening. Website also said the room we booked had a bathroom, but when arrived the bathroom was down the corridor and shared, that just needed to be clearer. WeWas

Melissa the lady at chck in was very efficient and was onw of very few who took the time to cann and ask abut eta, the place was old but had a very large kitchen. The shared bathroom left a lot to be desired. Very close to a licensed gaming venue.
Garry, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Hard to find and contact staff
Yvonne, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Close to city centre. Very limited off street parking with no security lighting.
Greg, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was clean but absolutely nothing else. Was expecting a wash basin and maybe some coat hangers. The toilets and showers were also quite a walk from my room.
Terence, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Old lodge near the Visitor Center
Communal travellers Lodge with small private dorm like rooms with common shared bathrooms. Staff were friendly, but a bit absent and checked out… You got the sense that they wanted to be left alone. Excellent common kitchen area with some free products like coffee and tea. Inviting pool in the courtyard. Everything about the common areas was actually above average, but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment with stained carpets and what seemed to be cigarette burns, and yellowed window coverings. The bed was clean, though! Overall, it’s exactly what you expect from being in the middle of the outback and a place that has served travellers for decades. It would probably do them some good to do some deep cleaning and renovations and reopen as an excellent property, but for now it is what it is

There was no one at the lodge, had to wait over half hour for someone to ring me back with a pin so I could enter. The room I got was nothing like in the photos.
Herbert, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Iamge showed an ensuite bathroom but there was none and the loos had wee all over the toilet floors. Showers were soaked and horrible.
