There was some restaurants close by. Homeless people sleeping at the building beside it. I actually felt pretty bad for them because it was so cold. The beds were absolutely horrific. The heater was either full blast or not at all. It does not function on an automatic mode. I couldn’t sleep with it on constantly so I woke up. It was 50° in the room. The carpeting is horrible - filthy.

Room was fine, walkways were covered in ice/slush. Best Western also bumped up the price for rooms by $75-100 during a state emergency! The entire region lost power so they thought it would be a good idea to jack up the rates. This is not a hotel chain we will ever stay in again because of their lack of community!
