Our stay at Summit Hotel had a challenging start but turned into a wonderful experience.
We had originally booked a standard room, but we found it too small for our needs so we decided to upgrade to a spacious room for approximately CAD $70–73 per night and paid the difference. After a 20-hour journey with flights and transit, we were exhausted unfortunately we had to move 3 times due to room issues which could have been avoided by management. The next morning everything changed after visiting the breakfast room. The breakfast staff welcomed us with warmth and breakfast was decent.
Hasan went above and beyond by helping us answering our many questions. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was when a gentleman casually chatted with us. We later discovered he was the hotel owner when a beautiful gift box of authentic sweets, including delicious Kesar Gulab Jamun, was delivered to our room as a thoughtful gift from him. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture that made us feel genuinely valued as guests.
Looking back, although our first night was stressful, the outstanding hospitality, kindness of the staff, excellent location, safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service completely changed our impression. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already pre-booked our next visit.
