Hello! Just wanted to leave my review on this hotel which honestly is not good. First of all, the road to the hotel needs some work, very rocky. Then when we arrived to the front desk, it was the longest greeting ever. I get it , as customers we need to be aware but it was sooo much, Soo many rules and just made me feel we aren’t allowed to do anything. We were given our room, “the mariposa” and surprise on 1st level and the garden view as advertised wasn’t much of a view and no pool view either. Then I had to go back to the front desk back and ask if we had wifi because she didn’t tell us that in the 10 minute check in greeting we had. She also failed to
Mention the access to the beach was closed.
The soap dispenser for washing hands in the room not working, it was full but not dispensing soap so I had to use shampoo to wash my hands.
The window area/barricade near the infinity pool is dirty, not clear nor clean. I think it’s because the saltwater buy still, it’s not the clean look as the restaurant has.
Then later in evening wanted to eat at restaurant next to the water of course. We were told that area is closed and can only wait upstairs. Like what?! The whole point to book a room at a place like this is to eat next to the beach, the upstairs level were it was only open had a horrible view of the beach, All you could see is there roof of the level downstairs, the level that is closed. We asked if we can just order food to go and bring the food there & said no.
