Friendly and kind owner. Overall atmosphere was warm, old-fashioned and nice. Other guests seemed friendly, too. The room was spacious and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and they gave us light breakfast, too. We enjoyed the stay.

This hotel is so old and is in desperate need of a gut job! The beds are old, furniture is old. It seems it is meant as a hunting lodge for a bunch of hunters to stay in. One good thing is that the coffee pot is always on if that’s your thing. Way too expensive for what you get. We were just too tired to go look for something else, we actually didn’t see any other lodging in the area. Don’t waste your money here!

The hotel is quite dated near the rooms. The owner was really nice and advised it is really hard to get staff but that really didn't explain why the bathroom door would not close. The entrance was beautiful and they are working on parts of the hotel but need to do more.

The grout around the bathtub was in bad condition. When taking a shower it was leaking out in the floor in a big puddle because of the bad grout. The corners in the bathroom were really dirty. Cobwebs on the lampshade and on the ceiling. The faucet in the bathtub was dripping constantly
