The hotel’s location is very good, rooms have a creative design and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every morning. There are 4 options on the menu, all prepared in the open kitchen - really a great way to start your day. I also recommend trying out the bar, the drinks are amazing.

Staff were super friendly and helpful (always grabbing the door and/or offering us an umbrella on the way out), bar staff included (the drinks and food were so good that we ended most nights in the East End bar - Clay made us feel very welcome there). The location is perfect as it is right by a bunch of shopping, department stores, restaurants, two metro lines, etc. And the room was more than enough space for the two of us, with a large bathroom and bathtub, along with all the amenities and nice-to-have's.

At first we thought it was bit quirky but within 1 day we came to love the quirkiness , and enjoyed the amazing rooftop pool and the bar on the 3 rd floor has the best award winning cocktails ( well done Clay) The front desk staff could not be more helpful with a shout out to Spud. As for location having spent 7 days solely in Taipei , there is no better location.

I chose this property because I knew I would want a luxurious experience for the last days of my trip and Proverbs didn't disappoint. The room was top notch and impressive. I really enjoyed the decor and the spaciousness of the room. The bathtub and the amenities were a nice touch and the location was great with lots of dining options. The only complaint I had was that the room was a bit chilly as it was 19C and I was not able to adjust the temperature up. However, after the staff explained that it had to do with the outside temperature, they offered me a space heater which was sufficient to address the issue.
