It’s a very nice place. It’s quiet and the grounds landscape beautifully. Randy, the host is very accommodating. Our only regret is that we only had time to spend one night there.

What an AMAZING little oasis! We came up for a trail race at Yellow River State Forest, and we were in absolute awe of this space. We happened to see the northern lights by chance just hanging out with our friends that were staying at the property across the koi pond. We will absolutely be back!

The property was lovely. We would enjoy going back there and spend more time relaxing on the property. We will definitely suggest the place to friends and general public. We did run into someone looking for accommodations in town and suggest Trickling Water Retreat. Perhaps she followed through with the suggestion (?).

We stayed in the apartment above the garage and absolutely loved it!! Place was very clean and amenities were plentiful. The property was beautifully landscaped along with a firepit, koi pond, and hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Great Weekend Stay!

The room was great above the garage. It was clean, comfortable and private. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We pulled a boat in and parking would not accomodate it, but a neighbor offered up there drive and yard area to park the boat and we compensated them well for doing this. We would definitely stay again!

Hotter than normal I'm sure, but the AC could be a bit stronger. Kept the adjoining room cool, bedroom eventually cooled down. Overall a great location and price. Better than staying across the river in a chain hotel.

Much needed getaway

We found Trickling Waters very relaxing and enjoyable. There were many birds to watch and listen to. The location is very convenient to many sites to see. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!
