Had to clean the bathroom before using it. Woken by the police knocking on doors at 12.30, realise this is not the hotels fault. Basic and a bit grubby.

Hotel picked primarily because of location. It is a fairly old building so is quirky. Bedroom and bathroom size was excellent.

Easy parking for a few cars, The Castle Hotel is a good place to stop in the area. The staff were very helpful and the check in and out was very easy but the rooms and amenities would benefit from a bit of maintenance and a deep clean.

Breakfast Continental. Staff were hardly ever there but polite when found them. Room mouldy/stained in ceiling & wardrobe. Rained so water came through bedroom ceiling all night, as no other room avaliable. Moved us next night.

Rom was clean and tidy, states it a hotel but it’s more like a family run BnB. Very smooth stay in a small village in wales. Can’t really fault the place
