Great place to stay for access to Acadia National Park which isn’t too far away. David on reception really helpful and knowledgeable regarding the tourist area. Pub restaurant food great and fantastic views. Recommended

I stayed here at least a dozen times and I've never had a bad experience. The building is is beautiful and well maintained in full of character. The grounds are luxurious and inviting. And the views are outstanding.

Nice large room with a gorgeous view. Very clean, bed was comfy, staff helpful and friendly. This is an old property and our neighbor above us was quite active but settled in by 10 or so. Otherwise, quiet stay. Nice breakfast variety.

The restaurant was great, which is why I gave it three stars. Otherwise the staff was surly and rude. Whatever you do, make sure you do not get a room under the restaurant/pub or the noise will keep you up well into the night and wake you up in the wee hours.

We only stayed 1 night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor. No elevator. Climbed 4 flights of stairs to 2nd floor. The traffic noise from the highway is loud if your room faces that way. Beautiful location.

Traveled to the Northeast to see the fall colors and stayed here for a night before we headed to Acadia NP. The inn is located next to a golf course, which was good for a quick round of golf. Setting is quiet as was the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We also had dinner here. Hubs had the prime rib special, which is only available on the first Saturday of the month. I had the mixed seafood grill. Portions were quite generous, cooked perfectly and quite delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. David and Jayne, owners of the inn, were welcoming and always on hand.

We were very happy with the accommodations at the Lucerene. The room was very clean, the staff was so nice, the food at the restaurant was very good and it even had a nice bar. We were very happy with our stay.
