I really wanted to like this room, trust me. This was the 6th hotel/lodging experience of my road-trip but the one I was looking forward to, the most since I love cabins.
Before I get into any of the issues, I want to say that the host/owner was responsive and picked up my call and answered my texts. They were away for the week and tried to get an electrician on-site, but wasn’t able to do so. They also suggested that I reset the breakers behind the cabin, but unfortunately, that didn’t help.
I stayed in Cabin #4. The main entrance light and the main ceiling light in the cabin weren’t functional. To add on to that, none of the power outlets except the ones by the sink were functional. The only light in the cabin was from the bulbs by the sink. As evident by now, the TV was also not functional since the outlet it was connected to wasn’t working.
The coffee machine was decent but its handle was broken. No biggie - I still made a cup of coffee for myself.
