We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Cairns and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Cairns, yet still peaceful and quiet. Everything you need is within easy walking distance: the beach, restaurants, cafés, and shops are all just about 200 metres away, which made getting around effortless, especially as a family. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. From the rooms to the common areas, everything felt fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which is incredibly important when travelling with family. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. It’s family owned, and you can genuinely feel it in the way the owners and staff treat their guests. The hospitality was sincere, warm, and welcoming—not forced or scripted. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, always happy to help, give local tips, or simply have a friendly chat. It was a fantastic family stay, and we created great memories here. If you’re looking for a clean, safe, centrally located hotel with heart and outstanding hospitality, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

Very central to everything. Train and big shopping centre only 10 minute walk. Woollies 5 minute walk. Waterfront less than 5 minutes. Heaps of eateries there. Even though we had late checkin (after 5pm) easy to get our key and gate code. Apartment had separate bedroom. Ensuite good size with walk-in shower. Nice hot shower.Kitchen has microwave, kettle, small fridge and few dishes. No cooking elements which we knew before we stayed. Maria very helpful and friendly. Good accommodation at reasonable price. Only downside was the towels very thin. Would stay there again.

The toilet did not have a toilet roll holder next to the WC and the roll had to be manually picked every time for a clean. Location was ideal but the accommodation is very old. Fixtures missing inside the bathroom. Only enough PowerPoints for their electric items. The room had an old school box air conditioner that was noisey n then kicked into even noisier each time the compressor set in. But, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Do you get what you pay for? $140 a night? I’d probably not stay here again unless they did some upgrades.
