Guys who ever needs a great, friendly, peaceful, cozy, and affordable place to stay I’m artesia, Budgett inn is the place to stay. Their rooms are spacious, super clean like mom and grandmas house, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The owner Andy is a great hostess and his family are so great to make you feel at home. The place is always nice and quiet and no drama. I can honestly say thee beat hotel for a great rate in artesia. I always stay at the Budgett inn or if they are super booked I go to their family’s second hotel La Hacienda trust book it you won’t regret it. Thank you Andy and your family for always making me feel welcome and comfortable.

Just ur standard room. No iron or board. No hair dryer. Had coffee maker, fridge/freezer, micro and hbo. Nice bathroom. Nice bed.

Room was large and would have been nice except that it had been subject to a poorly done renovation and poor housekeeping. The bathroom had a large hairball stuck to the wall and there was an open electrical box above the mirror that could have been fixed with a $2 blank cover. The bathroom door was impossible to shut because the bottom of the door dragged heavily on the tile and needed to be trimmed. Old worn office chair was the only seating in the room despite plenty of space for a comfortable chair or sofa.
Not what you want to see on the shower wall.

I stayed on Fourth of July and they had a nice community fireworks show and everyone was gathered around. The room was clean and quiet ( other than the Holiday celebration.)

We had to stay here due to dust-storm related road closures. The condition of the room was the "minimum we could tolerate. The shower curtain rod was broken and we couldn't get to stay up....it was taped with duck tape and just didn't fit. We were glad to leave this place.
