The property is a bit out of the centre but easily reachable by bus, car, or bicycle. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and started at a good time. The use of the dining area for personal meals was very welcome. Rooms are basic but very functional and clean.

Great place for sleeping

DBU works well for us. It is kind of a "no frills" place to stay but it works really well with parking, sleeping, free coffee/tea/water, a fridge to store cold things and a lounge where you are able to sit and relax and watch TV. You can choose to have breakfast or not. Easy to get to and plenty of possibility for shopping near by. And it is a very quiet place.

Great self service hotel! Provided lovely breakfast. Good value for Aarhus, it is out of the centre which likely contributes to the lower price. But we didn’t mind this! It’s a quiet peaceful area out of the hustle and bustle, then about 20-30 mins into the centre via bus. An unconventional way to do it, but it works!

Rented out Dormitory. Not really a hotel.

Although they have "in-suite" rooms, they are still quite simple and the beds are not next to each other, but end-to-end. Costs in Denmark are high so if you need to control prices this will work, but don't expect a high-end hotel. It is more like a dormitory.

First of all, the mattresses all had some kind of yellow and red stain all over them. The room was full of spiders and mosquitoes. The window kept open and did not have a lock (we were on the lower level room. In the morning there were people running by our door on the outside and screaming (there is a school and football field nextdoor. The breakfast was just bread, and juices (very very very basic). The best part was probably the parking lot which was gated and secure with a code. I've expressed my concerns from day one and was told that the stains don't count if they are under the sheets (first time in history that I've heard this from any management). Very very disappointed.

Det viser sig, at der er intet personale på stedet, og man skal klare alt selv. Fællesarealer er acceptable, men rummet er IKKE lydisoleret som ellers skrives. Selv normal tale udenfor dørene (både mod gang og udendørs) høres tydeligt:-( Rengøringspersonalet kunne med fordel bruge mere tid, da der er beskidt i hjørnerne. Sengen er tæt på udtjent, og sengetøj skulle vi selv ligge på 2 af sengene (og venligst huske at tage af ved afrejse). Morgenmaden var meget sparsom, og der kunne godt være mere varieret (både på sunde og søde alternativer). Vi fandt det med et fint tilbud, men havde det været til normalpris (lignende andre hoteller), var det for dyrt ifht kvalitet.. Alt i alt en lunken oplevelse, hvor det er tvivlsomt om der bliver booket igen.

Udmærket værdi for pengene. Ikke luksus men rent og helt og fungerede rigtig fint for min nat der. God seng, stille og ro, aflåst gratis parkering. Der var ikke personale til stede om aftenen. Næste morgen summede huset af aktiviteter, det var meget hyggeligt. Morgenmaden var ok til prisen.
