Checking in was hard. No signs drove around as it is in the pacific bay resort. Apparently this hotel is a break away of owners from the pacific bay. Apparently I Was suppose to of got a text and did not. So that took an hour, found reception they said I would get a text for a key lock box out the front of the room. Finally got to the room that text didn’t come, I stood out the front of the room call reception who didn’t pick up for 20mins. Finally a text with the code come through.
I booked a higher grade spa room… I entered the room and it was the most run down hotel I had ever stayed in. I would have hated to see the basic room. I rang and paid more for the highest level room. That was in no way a higher level room.
All together 1.5hrs to finally get into the room, no mobile service with either Telstra or Optus. 2 shampoos no conditioner, lifted a towel from the towel rack and the rack fell to the ground, shower in a high corner spa bath elderly people would struggle to have a shower, no access to gym plus many more.
If you want to stay here I would suggest staying at pacific bay resort.
