SLH hotels do not disappoint

Truly fantastic hotel. Rooms are spacious and well decorated, the breakfast is amazing and the show dinner at their restaurant has nice food and entertainment. The hotel feels brand new and good looking and the location is nice to reach Glasgow quickly but also to head up elsewhere with the motorway.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful 2 nights here - the rooms are spotless and spacious. Beds/pillows very comfortable and all the amenities you could ask for. The grounds around the property were so lovely. Had nice walking paths that overlooked the Rotten Caulder River and small waterfalls. Serve tea in the castle every afternoon and you can choose in which public room you would like to be served. Mine was in the library. Breakfast was quite good.
